3, Swiss Gardens, England, BN43 5WH.

We operate a high quality, fun-filled Term Time After School Club at Swiss Gardens Primary School.

Stay & Play After School Club is available for pupils attending Swiss Gardens Primary School only.

Children benefit from a safe and familiar school setting, helping them settle quickly into their surroundings and chosen activity.

We run our indoor sessions from downstairs School Hall. The dedicated space allows us to lead large or smaller group sessions, whatever the weather.

We set up a dining area in the hall, enabling the children to all eat together sociably.

The children enjoy the fantastic outdoor playground, where we’re able to operate our supervised games and activities, promoting collaboration, teamwork, and fun!

With options for booking on a regular or ad-hoc basis – we’re here, as much or as little as you need us.

We have limited places available and would encourage you to book now to secure your child’s place.

Stay and Play After School Club

The fun continues after school at our ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon programmes. Children can dive into more fun activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom, all before heading home for quality family time.

All children have a freshly prepared High Tea together – a real social highlight of every afternoon.

Our closest Holiday Camp is run from West Hove Infants School.

Meet The Swiss Gardens Club Manager

Callum

Club Manager

Hello, my name is Callum and I am the Club Manager at our Swiss Gardens Afterschool Club in Shoreham. As the Club Manager I’m passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for the kids after school.

I joined Pioneer in April 2021 as a Sports Coach and prior to this I worked in the mental health support industry.

At Afterschool Club I strive to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and respected and allow the children to make new friends where they might not get the opportunity to during school.

I love to do the sports activities with the children encouraging them to focus on their teamwork and honesty in sports to create a much more fun experience for everyone.

During my time at Pioneer Childcare, I have received training and hold a certificate in First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Prevent, FGM and Allergen awareness.

If you would like to discuss anything club-related, please call 07563798954 during club opening hours, and I will be happy to talk to you.

Our activities

Our activities:

  • Seven fun-filled adventure categories, designed for all ages and interests.
  • Promotes fun, curiosity and mindfulness in an entertaining and welcoming environment.
  • Create lifelong friendships over exciting adventures beyond the classroom.
  • Children choose how to spend their mornings and afternoons.

“Children enjoy a variety of well-planned activities. They choose between working with friends to build with construction bricks and drawing and cutting at the craft table. Staff sit alongside children, giving them gentle encouragement and praise for trying to do things for themselves."

Tina Lambert, Ofsted Inspector
Stanford Club, February 2023

“All children benefit from the social interactions between different age groups. Children who are new to the infant school and older children in the junior school play collaboratively together. For instance, they sit and do puzzles together and invite one another to join in group games. This supports older children to take responsibility and assists younger children in their confidence and self-esteem."

Tina Lambert, Ofsted Inspector
Stanford Club, February 2023

“Staff conscientiously get to know the children that they care for. They sit alongside the children and ask them about the activities that they have been doing at school. Children and staff have strong bonds, which enables children to talk freely about things that interest them. As a result, children feel valued and listened to."
