West Hove – School Road - Pioneer Childcare

Our School Road After School Club runs during term time at West Hove Infant School. We provide after school care onsite for both the Infant and Junior School. We aim to nurture, educate and enrich the children attending through a balance of planned activities and free time. Our School Road After School Club runs from the school canteen. We also make the most of the outdoor playground areas, to run our fun activities for the children. Our staff team includes qualified teachers, skilled sports coaches and experienced childcare professionals.

Meet The Club Manager

Ali

Club Manager

Hello, my name is Ali and I am the new Club Manager at School Road After School Club.

I joined the Pioneer team in May 2023, prior to this I worked in special needs education for 9 years, where I developed and ran a physical curriculum for children and young adults with complex physical and learning difficulties.

I believe inclusion is so important, and I am very excited to make sure all activities run at the club are suitable and meaningful to everyone!

I love arts and crafts and sports activities, so I am really looking forward to helping the children use their imaginations in a fun and creative way, as well as being physically active and healthy!

If you would like to discuss anything club-related, please call 07766342391 during club opening hours, and I will be happy to talk to you.

Our activities

We offer children choice and variety across our range of indoor activities including sport, games and arts & crafts. We enjoy additional access to the playgrounds, field & outdoor areas – meaning we have plenty of room to further extend our range of exciting activities.

We are constantly monitoring and supporting the children, to ensure everyone has been well fed with a variety of options available to keep the children engaged and enjoying themselves whilst in our care.
