Overview:

As an Activity Leader, you are a central part of the team, specifically responsible for working at Breakfast Club delivering engaging and fun activities to the children in our care.

You will lead in all aspects of club, including the delivery of activities, during breakfast and at transitioning times.  You will ensure that you are an excellent role model and meet the standards expected to deliver our high-quality childcare.

Key features: 

• Ensure children are happy and engaged in their activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children
• Build effective relationships with children and your colleagues
• Lead a range of activities for children of all ages
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
• Attend regular training and development opportunities
• Deputise for the Club Manager when necessary 

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Club Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Actively supporting your club
• Lead a range of activities independently, for children of all ages and abilities
• Supervise and lead outdoor play
• Lead Holding Activities
• Manage breakfast time
• Work with your Club Manager
• Understand Club timings and help to resolve issues
• Lead first aid incidents, when necessary
• Have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and prevent
• Plan activities with differentiation
• Be secure in our values
