Manor Field - Pioneer Childcare

During term time we provide breakfast and after school clubs that aim to nurture, educate and enrich the children attending.
Our Manor Field club runs from standalone double-classroom unit at the front of the school, which provides ample space for a range of art & quiet activities, and we are able to set up a separate dining area.
We also make the most of the outdoor playground areas, to run our fun activities for the children and the use of the large sports hall.

During every school holiday, Manor Field Holiday Activity Camp offers non-stop fun for children aged 4-11 years old. Every day children participate in a selection popular team sports, group challenges and art activities.
We run from the same familiar space, helping children to settle quickly into their holiday childcare routine.

Our experienced team includes qualified teachers, skilled sports coaches and experienced childcare professionals.

With options for booking on a regular or ad-hoc basis – we’re here, as much or as little as you need us.

Meet The Club Manager

Dee Sharpe

Head of Education and Welfare

Hello, my name is Dee and I’m in charge of our breakfast and after school club based at Manor Field School.  Before joining Pioneer Childcare, I was a college lecturer and also did some work with the Prince’s Trust.  Former roles include childcare management, running educational film projects in schools, drama workshops and teaching English as a foreign language.

I’m trained in First Aid, Mental Health First Aid as well as food hygiene.

I love spending time getting to know the children at Pioneer and seeing them develop various skills, whether creative, sporty, dramatic, academic or unusual as well as growing in confidence.  I love the way that the Pioneer characters and corresponding stickers encourage children to develop qualities such as kindness and perseverance.

If you would like to discuss anything club-related, please call 01444248427 during club opening hours, and I will be happy to talk to you.

Our activities

We offer children choice and variety across our range of indoor activities including sport, games and arts & crafts. We enjoy additional access to the playgrounds, field & outdoor areas – meaning we have plenty of room to further extend our range of exciting activities. We are constantly monitoring and supporting the children, to ensure everyone has been well fed with a variety of options available to keep the children engaged and enjoying themselves whilst in our care.
