Desmond Anderson Breakfast Club and After School Club

We operate high quality, fun-filled Term Time Breakfast and After School Clubs at Desmond Anderson Primary Academy School.

Rise then Shine Breakfast Club and Stay & Play After School Club are available for pupils attending Desmond Anderson Primary Academy only.

Children benefit from a safe and familiar school setting, helping them settle quickly into their surroundings and chosen activity.

We run our indoor sessions from the school. The dedicated spaces allow us to lead large or smaller group sessions, whatever the weather.

The children enjoy the fantastic outdoor playground, forest school area and field, where we’re able to operate our supervised games and activities, promoting collaboration, teamwork, and fun!



With options for booking on a regular or ad-hoc basis – we’re here, as much or as little as you need us.

We have limited places available and would encourage you to book now to secure your child’s place.

Rise Then Shine Breakfast Club

Our morning programmes are called ‘Rise Then Shine’, the perfect start to your child’s school day!
We set the tone for a great day at school through an array of energising activities and some delicious and nutritious food.
From delightful breakfast moments, to calming morning meditations, we ensure they step into school ready to embrace the day!

 

Breakfast Club – A Typical Morning

  • Drop off anytime from 7am, please ring the Pioneer doorbell to gain entry to our Breakfast Club
  • Breakfast is served between 7am – 8am.
  • A selection of cereals, crumpets, toast, and fresh fruit is available.
  • Engaging activities ready for the school day ahead, whether that’s burning off some energy or engaging in some mindful activities – it’s all part of the fun!
  • We take the children to school in time for the start of their school day.

 

Our closest Holiday HQ Camp is run at Crawley Down Village.

Stay and Play After School Club

The fun continues after school at our ‘Stay and Play’ afternoon programmes. Children can dive into more fun activities, building lasting friendships and creating memories beyond the classroom, all before heading home for quality family time.

All children have a freshly prepared High Tea together – a real social highlight of every afternoon.

 

Collection is anytime until 6pm, please ring the Pioneer doorbell so our manager can come to meet you.

 

Our closest Holiday HQ Camp is run at Crawley Down Village.

Meet The Desmond Anderson Club Manager

Club Manager

Hello, my name is Sharon, or Ms W to the children.  I am the Club Manager at Desmond Anderson’s new Breakfast and After School Club.

I have been working with children for over 25 years. Previous to this position, I was Manager at a children’s Holiday Club for 3 years. My experience also include, a Creche Practitioner, working in Special Educational Schools and a Primary School Teacher.

I currently hold certificates in Safeguarding Children and Young People, Full Paediatric First Aid, Food Safety Essentials and General Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness.

My goal for Desmond Anderson Breakfast and After School Club is for the children to feel safe and happy, to have fun, and to experience and embrace new ideas.
