Salary:                              £6.83 – £10.42/hour

Hours:                              Holiday Camp  8am – 5pm Monday to Friday

Overview:

As an Childcare Activity Leader you will be part of the team specifically responsible for working at Holiday Camps delivering engaging and fun activities to the children in our care.

Our camps run every school holiday and are full of fun themes, activities, and games – you can even bring your own ideas to share with the kids!  You can work as much as you’d like and dovetail this role with other commitments.

You will support children in all aspects of camp, including the delivery of activities, during snack and all breaks, and at transitioning times.   You will ensure that you are an excellent role model and meet the standards expected to deliver our high-quality childcare.

• To deliver high quality specialist sessions
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to 

Key tasks and responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Head of Education and Welfare or Camp Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Actively supporting camp:
• Ensure children are safe, happy, and secure
• Work with children of all ages and abilities
• Lead activities
• Follow plans and adapt when required

• Work with the HEW or Camp Manager to:
• Organise children between activities
• Have clear communication with your colleagues
• Be a role model for children and younger staff
• Be aware of staff ratios at all times
