Stanford - Pioneer Childcare
We provide a daily, term time After School Club at Stanford Junior School, for children attending both Stanford Infant and Junior School.
The After School Club at Stanford runs from the spacious school hall and outdoor playground areas.
We offer the children a variety of organised sports, games and arts activities, alongside free play with their friends. The children all come together for High Tea, where they choose from a selection of freshly prepared sandwiches, bagels, wraps, vegetable crudités & fresh fruit.
Our experienced team includes qualified teachers, skilled sports coaches and experienced childcare professionals.
With options for booking on a regular or ad-hoc basis – we’re here, as much or as little as you need us.

Club Manager
Hello, my name is Paula and I am the Club Manager at our Stanford After School Club.
I joined Pioneer Childcare in May 2022 where I worked as an Activity Leader for a year and a half. I loved the experience of working with children and especially loved running the arts and crafts activities.
During my time at Pioneer Childcare, I have learnt to embrace change as no day is ever the same. I am excited about the new possibilities being a club manager brings.
My favourite thing to do at Club is engage with the children about how their day is going. I love hearing the stories they have to tell.

Our activities
We offer children choice and variety across our range of indoor activities including sport, games and arts & crafts. We enjoy additional access to the playgrounds, field & outdoor areas – meaning we have plenty of room to further extend our range of exciting activities.
We are constantly monitoring and supporting the children, to ensure everyone has been well fed with a variety of options available to keep the children engaged and enjoying themselves whilst in our care.
